Wanxian Mountain (Scenic Spot)
It has the reputation of "Taihang Landscape Gallery, the world's rock climbing destination," and Guo Liang Village on a high cliff at 1,700 meters above sea level is also unique because of its unique mountains and canyons. The beautiful natural scenery is gorgeous.
Guo Liang Village is located in the hinterland of Taihang Mountain. The local villagers can only travel through the Taihang Grand Canyon to take the "sky ladder" of more than 700 steps. The ladder is dangerous and rugged, but at the time, it was the only road out of the mountain, and the traffic was extremely inconvenient. Therefore, in 1972, to be able to go down the mountain, under the leadership of the old branch letter, 13 villagers raised funds to buy steel hammers and steel files. Without power and machinery, they rely entirely on their hands to force themselves. A hammer hammered out 26,000 cubic meters of stone, and opened a Guo Liang cave with a height of 5 meters, a width of 4 meters, and a total length of 1,250 meters, which is also known as the "precipice wall."
Red Rock Precipice Grand Canyon of Yuntai Mountain
The canyon is 5-500 meters wide, 130 meters deep on both sides, and 40 kilometers long. It is called "Red Precipice Grand Canyon," such as a knife and ax chop. To the north of the gorge is the cliff promenade Guo Liangdong. Looking south from the mouth of the cave, you can see the majestic cliffs, the people's houses on the cliff, and the thick yellow elm trees.
From the south side of the canyon, you can see the 35 skylights of the cliff promenade and the majestic posture of Guo Liangdong crossing the cliff. At the bottom of the Grand Canyon is the Xueshantan Waterfall. Above the waterfall is a peak of more than 100 meters deep. In winter, the lake and waterfall are linked together into an iceberg, in the spring. The ice and snow melted, huge ice cubes cracked and fell, and the sound of thunder was booming. The sound of roar echoed in the canyon for a long time. It was magnificent and thrilling.
