Cycling along the Li River for 6 Days

When you arrive at Guilin International Airport, you will be met by the tour guide from Guilin and transferred to a hotel in Guilin Hotel. You’ll have free time for the evening.

After breakfast at the hotel and prepare your lunch box, you will check out and start your cycling tour. One hour later, you arrive at Daxu, a small town built in the Ming Dynasty as a local market on the Li River. Near the riverside, you can see a narrow street, paved with big slates on the surface, cutting through old houses made by wood and bricks with ancient characteristics. Passing through here, you continue your cycling along the Li River. 

Almost two hours later, you come to a place near Caoping Village from which you will cycle on a small track of to the mountain. At this point, you can see the splendid view of the Li River. About half an hour later, you come to a place with chestnut trees around where you can have a break and finish your lunch. From here, you continue your tour of about three hours of Xingping, a small town with a history of 1700 years. At Xingping you stay overnight at Post Hotel (B . L D )

In the morning you have free time. You can walk around yourself taking pictures or join an optional boat trip we offer you to Yucun, a five-hundred-year-old fishing village visited by former US president Bill Clinton in 1998. After lunch, you cycle about 26 kilometers to Fuli, another old town on the Li River. Going through the small town, you can witness people’s lives and the making process of some local arts and crafts. From Fuli, the ferry will send you to the other side of the river along which a twisty path will lead you to Yangshuo. You will stay at Yangshuo New Century Hotel or West Street Hotel. In Yangshuo, you can wait till even after midnight in small cafés or restaurants on West Street drinking or talking with your friends (B.L.D).

After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a 28-kilometer cycling tour near Yangshuo. You start from Yangshuo and pass by Aishan Village, Yongcun Village, and Lexiang and finally come to the Moon Hill Village at which you will have your dinner at a local farmer’s home. On tour, you will opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of limestone hills, the rice paddy fields, and pass through some villages. In the afternoon, you will climb Moon Hill and visit the big banyan tree (B.L.D.).

After breakfast, you will start your cycling tour to Baisha (meaning "white sands" along the main traffic road. Three kilometers you go along the small track when you come to an ancient Yulong (meaning "meeting the dragon") bridge over the beautiful From there, you will cycle on the river bank to Jiuxian Village and Jima Village and have lunch at farmer's house. You will be back to Yangshuo in the afternoon. Stay at New Century Hotel (B.L.D).
