DAY 1: Arrive in Lhasa
Upon your arrival, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel. Tourists may view the Yarlung Tsangpo River/ Bhamaputra river (the Longest and largest river in Tibet) and Lhasa river on their way to Lhasa. Rest in your hotel to get acclimatized to high altitude. If you feel about going out, then you can go to the Potala Square, where you will enjoy the fountain with different colors and get amazing photos of the Potala and around.
For the newcomers, please first get acclimatized to the high altitude in Tibet. Rest in your hotel. There is no rush to visit attractions inside Lhasa city. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
DAY2: Lhasa Tour - Potala Palace, Johkang Temple, and Barkhor Street (B, D)
Today's tour will certainly initially bring you to the Potala Palace, which is the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. It was used since the 7th Century by the 33rd terrific king of Tibet. The most important collections of Potala Royal residence are the gilded interment stupas of former Dalai Lamas and reflection Cavern of the 33rd wonderful king of Tibet.
After lunch, visitors head to Jokhang holy place, which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th Century. Inside, you can see the sculpture of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Outside, you can see pilgrims making prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple. Around the holy place is Barkhor road, where you can do kora (a spiritual circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and also discover the old market.

DAY 3: Lhasa Tour - Drepung and Sera Monastery (B)
In the morning, you are most likely to go to Drepung monastery, which is among the "wonderful 3" Gelug abbeys of Tibet, established in 1416 by Jamyang Choge, one of the Tsongkhapa's chief disciples. You can check out the most fabulous monastery kitchen inside the monastery and delight in the Buddhist Sculpture Making workshop near Drepung.
In the Afternoon, Tourists will certainly check out Sera Monastery which is an additional one of the "excellent three" Gelug abbeys of Tibet. The warm attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the mid-day. DAY 4: Departure from Lhasa(B)
The guide will transfer you to the airport or train station and help you get on board.

Lhasa Gongar International Airport is about 70km from the downtown, and it takes about 1.5 hours for a car transfer between airport and hotel. Upon your arrival at the airport, our Tibetan local pick-up guide will greet you warmly, and escort you to the hotel. When the tour ends, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the airport.
