Typical downstream plan: 4 days / 3 nights
Explore all China journeysA downstream Yangtze cruise offers a different rhythm from a private land tour: unpack once, watch the river landscape change and join the excursions included by your chosen ship. This page describes a typical Chongqing-to-Yichang planning framework, not a guaranteed schedule for every vessel.
Suggested format: Typical downstream plan: 4 days / 3 nights. The final route and inclusions are confirmed in your personal proposal.
Arrange your arrival with enough time for the confirmed pier, luggage transfer and ship check-in. Port assignments and boarding instructions are supplied for the actual sailing. Do not book a tight same-evening connection based only on a generic sample itinerary.
Spend the following days on the selected ship, with scheduled shore visits and time on deck. Which excursions are included, which are optional and whether attractions use additional transport depend on the vessel and sailing. A particular dam transit or ship lift is not assumed.
Follow the ship’s final-day arrangements and confirmed transfer point. We coordinate the onward train, flight or hotel with the real disembarkation timing. Upstream cruises usually have a different duration and should be quoted as a separate itinerary.
Distances in western China are easy to underestimate. We state the main transfer sectors and avoid treating an arrival day as a full sightseeing day. Transport availability, attraction reservations and the location of your overnight stops shape the itinerary together.
Tell us about your preferred daily walking level, dietary needs and hotel expectations. The written quote identifies included transport, guiding, admissions and meals. Scenic-area shuttles, special activities or optional cruise outings are included only when explicitly confirmed.
No universal inclusion applies. Your proposal identifies the ship, cabin, meals, scheduled visits, optional charges and transfer arrangements so you know what is covered.
Yes. Share your travel dates, party size, starting and finishing cities, and the experience you most want to include. We check the connections and availability before preparing a route with clear services and pricing.
Tell us your dates, group size and priorities. We will discuss a practical route and confirm what is available before you book.
