China Adventure Club grew from Great Wall Adventure Club, founded in Beijing in 2003. The China Adventure Club division was established in 2005. What began with carefully researched Great Wall journeys now reaches across China—from imperial cities and ancient trade routes to mountain villages, river valleys, high plateaus, and the modern energy of Beijing and Shanghai.
We believe the best journey is not the one that follows a standard formula. It is the one that reflects the travelers taking it: their interests, comfort level, pace, available time, and sense of adventure.
HOW WE TRAVEL

NBC selected Great Wall Adventure Club to guide a televised Great Wall hike. Our Great Wall programs have also been covered by The Wall Street Journal and Fodor’s, reflecting the local knowledge and careful coordination behind our journeys.
Today our headquarters is in the United States. We combine long-established roots in China with clear communication, personal service, and the standards international travelers expect.

During this period, we donate to the Red Cross Society of China to support efforts to combat the pandemic.
We support the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, adding another Olympic milestone to our experience with major international events.
