Explore all China journeysCombine two distinct plateau landscapes on a longer Tibet circuit: the Everest region and Lake Namtso, linked by Lhasa and the historic towns of central Tibet. Ten days offers more scope than the shorter Everest loop, but it also adds road travel and further exposure to high elevation.

Allow a measured opening stay before continuing toward Gyantse and Shigatse. The agreed cultural visits provide context for the wider landscape. Your guide can modify the order when reservations, roads or how you are feeling make a change appropriate.

The lake extension is planned around weather, road access and the overnight sequence. It is not a short detour from Everest. We explain the long driving sectors before booking and may recommend omitting Namtso if conditions or comfort make the combined route unsuitable.
