The trip combines selected Li River-area paths with a separate mountain-village stay. Arrive in Guilin, then travel to the agreed walking start. Explore a permitted route around the Yangdi–Xingping landscape when available. River crossings and shoreline paths are not assumed to be continuously accessible; your guide selects the practical route for the day.
Continue by road to the terrace region and begin a shorter village walk. This transfer is a meaningful part of the day. Pack an overnight bag if your hillside accommodation has limited luggage access, and expect steps and uneven village paths.
Spend time on approved paths around the selected villages and viewpoints before returning for your onward connection. A longer village-to-village walk depends on trail conditions and fitness. We adjust distances rather than promising the same crossing in every season.
