Round and square forms are only the beginning. Courtyards, shared circulation, entrances and the relationship with nearby buildings reveal how the structures functioned. A guide can explain these features without treating every building as identical or every resident as part of a display.
Yongding and Nanjing have different groupings and transfer patterns. Buildings such as Chengqi Lou and the Tianluokeng cluster are possible focuses, not a promise that all major tulou fit into one day from Xiamen. We select a coherent route for your time.
