This is a glacier-landscape visit using authorized scenic-area access, not an ice-climbing or glacier-walking expedition. Sichuan ranges from the Chengdu Plain to high mountain country. A route that looks compact on a map may involve substantial road travel and a large change in elevation. We describe daily activity levels and transfer time before choosing the overnight sequence.
Panda venues and mountain areas have separate operating rules. Animal encounters are based on the confirmed program, and no wild sighting or close contact is guaranteed. Activity routes, support, meals and any specialist equipment are specified in your proposal; an alternative may be needed if weather or access changes.
